Major Models has established itself firmly as one of the new contemporary agencies, having quietly grown its market presence since 1999 and positioning itself as one of the top ten worldwide agencies handling men and women. Under the guidance of president Katia Sherman the company has transitioned from boutique agency to global innovator, expanding the core model management business to include talent and artist representation. Major Models was founded in the late 1980’s in Milan by entrepreneur and businessman Guido Dolci to service the growing fashion scene throughout Europe, fueled in part by the re-emergence of couture. The runway and editorial boards throughout the most prominent markets issued a demand for new talent and the modeling industry has seen regular growth to this day.
